Blackheads form when the hair follicles on the skin become clogged with excess oil (sebum), dead skin cells, and bacteria. When this mixture is exposed to air, it oxidizes and turns black, giving blackheads their characteristic appearance. While regular blackheads are relatively small in size, super giant nose blackheads are larger and more stubborn.
